 A low cost and low key event for beginners to learn or experts to train.  Navigation techniques for running and mt biking.  Bring a canoe and practice your paddling skills.  How to set up a TA.

        ADVENTURE RACE WEEKEND - September 11/12 2010 
Racing Ahead is combining with Up North Orienteering Club to host a weekend full of Adventure Racing and Orienteering for families, teams, and individuals.
Events for the weekend include our 3Hour Adventure Race (preregister below), assorted orienteering courses from super easy for tots, to super hard for experts, a Canoe-O, and two different night orienteering courses - a 45 minute race for fun, and a more difficult race for those gluttons for punishment.  (Just show up for all Orienteering courses, no need to preregister)  Camp at Pawtuckaway through the park office ($30 per night and up) or through UNO ($11 per night adult, child $5.5)  (editing - under construction 11:20 6/27...

• 12 Hour USARA National Qualifier Adventure Race - September 11th Canceled   Why?
  

Orienteering and 2400 maps, no plotting. Mountain bike, trek, paddle. Teams of 3: Coed, Male, Female.

• 3 Hour Sport Adventure Race (12 PM) - September 11th - Saturday
  

Perfect for Newbies! Run, Mountain Bike, Paddle, all with limited navigation! Teams of 2: Coed, Male, Female.
