This race is a great way to test out the adventure racing waters! Perfect for new teams, teams looking for minimal navigation, or ones that just want a shorter race! This race has minimal / easy navigation, and will include all three typical adventure racing disciplines: paddling, mountain biking, and trekking.  A great way to try an adventure race without committing too much cash, gear, or time!

The Basics:
Time: 12:00PM
Price: $150 (for team of 2 people)
Distance: Approximately 1.5 - 3 hours to finish

Location: 31 Mountain Rd., off Rte 156, Nottingham, NH 03290 (We'll be meeting at the Beach Parking lot)

The Nitty Gritty:   ---

Teams:  2 person teams, either coed or single gender. Coed is the premier category and will rank above single gender teams. 

Support:  No support needed.  You'll pre-stage your gear with your vehicle at the Beach Parking lot.

License:  USARA license required; $35 per year, or $8 per single event.

Disciplines: Mountain biking, running/hiking, paddling, navigation (Not necessarily in that order)

Maps: All checkpoints are pre-plotted.  We will provide both orienteering and topo maps.  (other maps are allowed but they won't help!)

Awards / Prizes: Top finishers in each category receive prizes (category must have at least 3 teams)

Lodging: Pawtuckaway has camping facilities, email us to reserve a site in our group area.

Refund Policy: All but 1/3 of the entry fee (considered the deposit) is refundable up to three weeks prior to race start. After three weeks, anything over the deposit is redeemable within one year for credit towards a Racing Ahead, LLC event.
