Type of Event: Adventure Race, 2nd race of a 3-race Series NEARS-2

Distance: Approx 40 miles, 7-12 hours to finish.  Cut-offs ensure that even novices can try

all legs of the race without all the distance!

Support: minimum of 1 support crew member required.

Disciplines: Mountain Biking, Running/Hiking, Paddling, Navigating.

License: USARA National Qualifier

(USARA license required, $35 per year, or $8 for single event)

Start Time: 6am on Sunday, June 1st

Location: To be announced

Cost: $390 per team of 3, Coed or single gender, (co-ed is the premier category-ranked higher).

2 person teams may race, ranked below 3 person teams.

Registration: Until May 25th, if space exists. Late Registrants (after May 15-noon) No increase in price, but no guarantee of T-shirts.

Award/Prizes: Top finishers in each category, cash to top co-ed team, teams earn points toward overall Series Winner.
