Camping is primitive, there are no tables. No fires are allowed. Stoves are permitted. Camping and Cabins MAY have access to the dining hall kitchen, but prepare for independent food preparation at your site.
We recommend all Support crews have a Delorme NH Gazetteer. Available at Eastern Mountain Sports and anywhere maps are sold.
Post Race party will be bumped up to as early as 6pm dependant on number of teams remaining on course. Party will start with social half hour followed by barbecue and awards.
May 21 2008

Lodging options:
At Race Headquarters:
On site Cabin with 12 beds (6 bunks) with mattresses and electricity $75 (limited availability)
On site Camping (multiple tents) $30 per team.
Both cabins and camping have separate bath houses with showers and flush toilets.
Paddles and paddling gear:
You will NOT have to carry your paddling gear. OK, You will, but only for a short sprint.
Plotting and UTM:
You WILL have to plot most if not all your checkpoints and transition areas. Know how to use a UTM plotter and bring your plotting tools with you to the Start. You will be plotting (most likely 1:24000 scale) after you get your maps at 6am. (Any additional maps handed out during the course will be pre-plotted for you)
Rogaine:
At least part of this race will have a rogaine or score-o segment where your team decides how many checkpoints to get.
Support Crew:
Your support crew should be able to navigate; imagine arriving at a TA and having to wait for your support crew. One vehicle per team, no exceptions. Post Race B&B (Barbeque and Beer) is available to your support crew for $15 per person.
Map Cases
We've noticed many maps not making it through our races. A good map case is ALOKSAK. The best price with shipping I've found is from Zombie Runner. If you want just the bags and not the case, get the 12x12 size.
